BMW AG (BMWYY)  started mass-producing electric cars in September and plans to have at least 12 fully electric models by 2025. And some of those cars will have a range of more than 430 miles, which could prove to be big competition for Tesla Motor's (TM)   clean energy dominance.

Of course, the old-school combustion engines will continue to be produced and sold as they transition to electric. But be sure to watch the video above to learn more about BMW's electric car plans.
