After weeks of speculation about the fate of the Murdoch family media empire, 21st Century Fox (FOXA) will sell the majority of its entertainment portfolio to Disney (DIS) for $52.4 billion in stock. Speculation of a deal came to light in early November after reports revealed that Disney and Fox held talks. Until recently Comcast (CMCSA) had reportedly been interested in acquiring some Fox assets.
