Rex Tibbens, COO of ride-hailing service Lyft Inc., will leave the company by the end of the year.
The ride-sharing company's Co-Founders Logan Green and John Zimmer confirmed the departure of Tibbens, who previously worked at Amazon.com (AMZN - Get Report) and Dell Inc. (DELL) , in an email to staffers.
Included in that email: Tibbens has "been an incredible partner helping bring Lyft to every state, and launching strategic initiatives like Express Drive and our Nashville support center. To lead the charge for Lyft's next phase of growth, we're underway with the search for our next COO."
