Amazon.com (AMZN) is shopping around for a home for its second headquarters, and there's a good chance that it could be coming to a city near you. Amazon recently revealed that it has broken its list of 238 down to 20 cities.
Among the list are New York City, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Pittsburgh, and Austin.
Becoming the host city for Amazon HQ2 presents huge opportunity for any municipality. The headquarters presents the potential for 50,000 well-paying jobs as well as a $5 billion investment. In addition, the lucky city that Amazon chooses is bound to be pretty happy come tax season.
Could your city be the chosen one?
