Apple (APPL) has released its latest update for the Mac's operating system 'macOS High Sierra' which is compatible with all macs from 2010 onwards and some MacBooks and iMacs from 2009 onwards.

The update includes a new file system which supports more efficient photo and video standards, as well as improving the way the system handles 4K video without using up too much storage space.

MacOS High Sierra has a built-in technology called 'Metal 2' which improves the user's visual experience when playing games, creating content or watching a movie.

The photos app has been improved in the update with a range of new tools that make it easier to organize and edit more efficiently.

The update also includes Intelligent Tracking Prevention which will help keep data safer by making it harder for advertisers to track Mac users online.
