Apple (AAPL) just gave a first look at its new Apple Park. The 175-acre green space features over 9,000 trees.

Apple's September 12 event was held at the new state of the art Steve Jobs Theater. It holds 1,000 seats and features a 20-foot-tall glass cylinder entrance. The theater's 80-ton roof was shipped in from Dubai.

The theater is set apart from the main campus. In addition to workspaces, Apple Park will feature areas for the public to visit including a visitor center, and Apple Store and a cafe.

Apple's Chief Design Office Jony Ive said, "[Steve Jobs] invested so much of his energy creating and supporting vital, creative environments."
