Amazon's  (AMZN)  acquisition of Whole Foods (WFM)  sent a chill through brick-and-mortar businesses across the country. It even left some wondering if any business is safe.

TheStreet visited the International Franchise Expo to find businesses that you can open and at least for now, seem to be out of Amazon's reach.

We looked for franchise opportunities that specialize in experiences that you can only get in person and cannot be delivered, even by a drone.
