Airbus has unveiled the A380Plus - its new passenger jet. The new jet is seen as a way of boosting the company's flagging sales of the A380.

The airplane will have a new wing design that aims to improve aerodynamics and the cabin will be fitted with 80 extra seats "with no compromise on comfort."

"The A380plus is an efficient way to offer even better economics and improved operational performance at the same time," said John Leahy, Airbus COO Customers.
