If you munch on granola, recycle regularly and worry about the status of Mother Earth then General Motors' new Chevy Bolt is the car for you. The small, all-electric four door car zips through traffic with ease and has a decent amount of interior space.

But there are some shortcomings, which TheStreet found out in its test drives of the Bolt during a recent weekend. The biggest one: range anxiety, or the constant fear you will drain the car's battery and be left stranded on the side of the road.
