Meg Whitman just announced that she is stepping down as Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Co.'s CEO (HPE - Get Report) . She has been leading the company since 2011 when it was still part of HP (HP - Get Report) . Whitman encouraged students to step out of their "intellectual silos" and expose themselves to competing ideas and philosophies.
