North Carolina's so-called 'bathroom bill' may be killed. The bill required transgender people to use the bathroom corresponding to their birth gender. The highly controversial bill led to North Carolina losing billions in business. Recently, the NCAA threatened to pull activity from the state if the law remained intact. Lawmakers say they've reached a deal to repeal HB2, the formal name for the bill.

Lululemon  (LULU)  is off to a bad start for the year. Shares of the athletic apparel maker are getting slammed after profits fell below estimates and guidance for the quarter was far below estimates. Lululemon blames a lack of bold colors in its new lines and website marketing for soft sales. Cenovus Energy (USA) is buying ConocoPhillips' (COP) Canadian assets. The price tag is $13 billion. With the buyout, Cenovus doubled its reserves and production.
