General Electric (GE) has gotten the OK from the European Union regarding its planned $1.65 billion purchase of Denmark-based LM Wind Power.

GEshares fell modestly, a day after its CEO spoke at an investor conference and seemed to waver a bit on the company's $2 a share guidance for 2017 earnings.
$2 per share is the target activist firm Trian Management wants to see.
The agreement follows an announcement by GE during President Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia last weekend of $15 billion of business deals.
