Banking on the potential of voice commands, both Amazon (AMZN) and Alphabet (GOOGL) hope to launch a call feature for their respective Echo and Google Home this year, the Wall Street Journal reported. The launch of the feature has previously been delayed due to issues concerning privacy, telecom regulations and emergency services.
