On Thursday, investors await quarterly results from Amazon (AMZN - Get Report) and Chipotle (CMG - Get Report) . After the markets close, analysts expect Amazon to report earnings of $1.35 a share on sales of $44.68 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, Amazon posted earnings of $1 a share with revenue of $35.75 billion. Other companies reporting earnings Thursday include Chipotle, Visa (V - Get Report) and Cigna (CIG - Get Report) . As for economic data, jobless claims are released at 8:30 a.m. EST.
