Meanwhile, General Electric (GE - Get Report) posted lackluster fourth quarter results, matching estimates on the bottom line and missing forecasts on the top line. Revenue in its oil and gas segment slumped 22% to $3.4 billion. The company is merging that division with Baker Hughes (BHI) . Procter & Gamble shares (PG - Get Report) moved higher after reporting adjusted earnings of $1.08 a share, slightly ahead of estimates. Revenue of $16.85 billion topped estimates of $16.77 billion. P&G said foreign exchange headwinds may ding its sales growth in 2017.
