Ford Motor (F - Get Report) says it is bringing back two iconic nameplates back to the market.

Ford says it will launch the Ranger midsize pickup truck back in the U.S. market in 2019. The Ranger is already the second-best selling midsize pickup truck globally.

"We're seeing consumer taste in that segment grow. It's one of the fastest-growing segments in the industry. As the full-size pickups have grown, there is room now for that midsize pickup, which is just a little bit smaller," says Ford's President of the Americas Joe Hinrichs.

Ford is also bringing back the Ford Bronco with the 2020 model year.

"There is so much demand, so much pent-up interest in the Bronco. We know people are looking for that rugged, athletic, off-road vehicle and we're going to be able to give that to them with the Bronco," says Hinrichs.
