On Thursday investors await the final estimate of third quarter gross domestic product, along with quarterly results from Rite Aid (RAD - Get Report) . Analysts expect third-quarter GDP to be revised higher, to growth of 3.3%, compared to the previous estimate of 3.2%. The numbers are released at 8:30 a.m. Eastern. Other economic data released at 8:30 a.m. ET include durable goods orders and weekly jobless claims. Also, before the markets open, Rite Aid is out with financial results. Analysts expect the company to report earnings of 4 cents a share on sales of $8.23 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, Rite Aid posted profit of 6 cents per share on revenue of $8.15 billion. Rite Aid is in the process of being acquired by Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA - Get Report) . ConAgra Foods (CAG - Get Report) also reports earnings before the markets open.
