Stocks held higher through the morning session as crude oil extended earlier gains. Crude recovered a level above $45 on elevated hopes of a production freeze agreement among top oil producers.  Sarepta Therapeutics (SRPT - Get Report) soared after the FDA granted approval for its treatment for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The terms of the approval require Sarepta to hold a new clinical trial to prove the drug's efficacy. Eldorado Resorts (ERI - Get Report) has agreed to buy Isle of Capri Casinos (ISLE) in a cash and stock deal worth nearly $1 billion. The acquisition doubles the number of gaming locations Eldorado operates.  TerraForm Power (TERP - Get Report) climbed after announcing it was exploring strategic alternatives, including a possible sale of some or all of its business. The energy company has made a confidentiality agreement with one-time parent SunEdison  (SUNE) to discuss options.
