Shares of Denbury Resources (DNR - Get Report) were lower Wednesday as oil prices fell more than 2% to just under $44 a barrel. Shares of the company have still managed to climb about 43% so far in 2016, with shares moving largely in tandem with oil and gas prices. Crude prices slumped Wednesday after a weekly report revealed a greater-than-expected increase in U.S. petroleum stockpiles. Shares of industry peer Marathon Oil were also lower Wednesday.
