U.S. Stocks held slight gains through the afternoon after weaker U.S. services activity pushed back the chances of a September interest rate hike. The Federal Reserve will meet in two weeks, but most analysts don't expect a move until December at the earliest.  Intel  (INTC - Get Report) climbed after acquiring semiconductor company Movidius for an undisclosed amount. Tech companies Alphabet and Lenovo Group are both clients of the company. 3D printing stocks rose, inspired by GE's (GE - Get Report) decision to purchase privately-owned specialists Arcam and SLM Solutions. Industry leaders Stratasys (SSYS - Get Report) and 3D Systems (DDD - Get Report) moved higher. Finisar (FNSR - Get Report) climbed after Stifel upgraded its stock rating to BUY from HOLD. The firm said the demand outlook has improved and upped its earnings forecasts over the next two years.
