U.S. stocks turned mixed in the final hour of the session, though still snapped a five-week winning streak. The S&P 500 has fallen around 0.8% since Monday in a week which included tragedy in Brussels and renewed fears over crude oil. West Texas Intermediate recorded its first weekly loss in six, falling just over 4% for the week. However, crude did manage to recover from session lows on Thursday after the number of active oil rigs in the U.S. declined. TiVo (TIVO - Get Report) surged on reports the company is in merger talks with Rovi (ROVI) . Time Warner (TWX) is the latest media company to rally against Georgia's proposed anti-LGBT legislation, joining other dissenters including Disney (DIS - Get Report) , Viacom (VIA.B) and AMC Networks (AMCX - Get Report) .
