U.S. stocks opened lower Tuesday as the Federal Reserve begins its 2-day meeting where the governors will consider interest rates and the economy. Any change in interest rates is not expected. It looks like the Ford (F) F-150 pick up truck is catching on. The redesign made Ford's profit suffer in 2014 but the aluminum redesign helped Ford achieve its best ever pre-tax profit of $2.7 billion. Comcast (CMSCK) movie division helped the entire company. It had popular blockbusters like 'minions', 'Jurassic World', and 'Furious 7'. The studio helped lift Comcast revenue by 11% to $18.7 billion even as Comcast Cable TV subscribers kept cutting cords. Alibaba (BABA) saw a 32% increase in revenue. Durable Goods orders fell for a second straight month. UPS (UPS) reported an unexpected decline in revenue.
