Golf apparel is big business around the world. Each year, in the U.S. alone, American golfers spend roughly $1.5 billion on golf apparel and accessories, according to Golf2020. Many of the game's biggest names wear the best known brands. Masters winner Jordan Spieth recently signed a 10 year deal to wear Under Armour (UA). Veteran Sergio Garcia was reportedly paid $5 million to wear Adidas in 2013 and perhaps the best-known name, Tiger Woods, is reportedly paid $20 million a year to wear Nike (NKE). So, the big question of course is whether a shirt can really help your golf game. We decided to do our own test. We enlisted the help of three interns. They tested the shirts at a local New York City driving range.
