The markets continue to reach record highs, but the S&P 500 is still trading within a tight range and has only returned 2.8 percent since the start of the year. Jeff Tomasulo, CEO & head portfolio manager at Vespula Capital said the market is in need of a catalyst: an event that either pushes the markets significantly higher or lower. In fact, Tomasulo thinks a correction, when a major stock index falls ten percent, would be healthy for the markets at these record high levels. Tomasulo also commented on Thursday's allegedly fake filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, claiming an investment firm was buying Avon Products (AVP).
