Wang added that GE should consider buying Salesforce.com as it moves further across the digital divide. He said hotel giant Marriott is also utilizing big data in order to serve its customers better whether it be at a luxury hotel or one of its lower end brands. Finally, Wang said the New York Times and Wall Street Journal have successfully crossed the digital divide and have made their customers cross the pay wall to read their news online.
