More women are willing to take the risk to start companies today, but the challenge is finding the right investors to back those entrepreneurial ventures, said Kay Koplovitz, editor of 'Been There, Run That.' Koplovitz added that her firm Springboard Enterprises has become the premier platform to match innovators and investors with women-led businesses. She said women need to access the so-called Stiletto Network to push their businesses forward. Furthermore, Koplovitz said women often have the additional challenge of running a family, which means they need to be flexible to meet their children's needs, as well as the needs of their growing business.
