Crowdfunding opens up a new world for accredited investors seeking commercial real estate opportunities because it offers both steady returns and customization, said Steven Bettinger, CEO of Acquire Real Estate. Bettinger added that Acquire invests in existing yielding properties as opposed to distressed or properties in development. He said crowdfunding commercial real estate projects is different from investing in REITs because it enables the investor the opportunity to pick, choose and even visit the site. Finally, Bettinger said Acquire offers accredited investors regular distributions and a diversified portfolio of investments.
