Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer and Research Director Jack Mohr discuss why they believe Lowe's (LOW) is a buy following the company's strong fourth quarter earnings, reported Wednesday morning. Lowe's delivered the cleanest of beats (across every metric), the most important of which was comparable sales, which - at 7.3% - came in 210 basis points ahead of consensus. Cramer and Mohr explain that Lowe's is a new company, and the troubles that plagued them historically are now in the rear-view mirror. The company is closing the gap against Home Depot, but the overriding theme is more powerful: two companies executing well within a scorching hot sector.
