TheStreet's Jim Cramer says investors have an unbelievable deal with two companies, Whiting and Kodiak, joining together to exploit the Bakken shale region. Cramer finds Whiting buying Kodiak unbelievable because he thought Whiting was going to be an acquisition target. Cramer says this deal reminds him of Hillshire going after Pinnacle, Pinnacle in this case being Kodiak, because of how Tyson was going after Hillshire. Cramer says the combination makes this company 'King of the Bakken,' having passed Continental Resources. The numbers for the Bakken keep going up but isn't closing on Texas because the Texan Permian and Eagle Ford are doing so well. Cramer says this is a great combination and the acreage is good. Cramer says he would be a buyer of Whiting on the deal.
