Starbucks and its cold-pressed juice line Evolution Fresh, and Hain Celestial Group's BluePrintCleanse have been doing battle for a couple years. That battle could be about to morph into a full-fledged green juice war, made so by advances from BluePrintCleanse. At a market value of about $500 million, the cold-pressed juice market is growing rapidly. BluePrintCleanse sales have roughly doubled to $40 million from the $20 million when the brand was acquired by Hain Celestial in 2010. Starbucks does not disclose Evolution Fresh sales, but has a total of eight different juices in the market that it characterizes as green. Brian Sozzi talked with Sheila Stanziale of Hain Celestial, who oversees BluePrintCleanse, to get the details.
