Stocks took a breather after a huge record breaking run last week. The Dow Jones Industrial, S&P 500 and Nasdaq all gave up gains in today's trading. A July Fourth car crash involving a Tesla car moved Tesla (TSLA) shares lower. The incident in Los Angeles was with a stolen Model S that led to a high speed chase. A crash ensued, splitting the car in two and burning. Telsa wants to study the remnants of the vehicle. PetSmart (PETM)shares added to its gains after more calls today for the company to sell itself. Alcoa (AA) will take center stage after the close tomorrow when it kicks of Q2 Earnings season. Other highlights on the earnings front this week include Family Dollar Stores (FDO) and Wells Fargo (WFC). TheStreet's Susannah Lee reports from Wall Street.
