President Obama is nominating former Procter & Gamble chief Bob McDonald to head the Department of Veterans Affairs. Obama says McDonald is the right person to lead the organization. Obama calls McDonald an expert in making organizations better. McDonald worked at Procter & Gamble for 33 years and his jobs spanned from the assembly lines to the executive suite. The president said officials have reached out to 135,000 veterans so far to get them off the wait list and the effort will be ongoing. He also said America has all the rights to be angry at VA's unfair bonus compensation and new rules will be implemented to reward employees properly.
