Andreas Tschas, co-founder and CEO of Pioneers, talks with Lee Pacchia about his organization's efforts to foster a tech startup community in Vienna, Austria. Tschas describes Pioneers as a platform designed to connect young entrepreneurs working in emerging technologies with the tools and contacts needed to grow their startups into viable companies. Why Vienna? According to Tschas, it's all about location. "Vienna is not just the most livable city and the smartest city, Vienna is also a hub connecting the East with the West...there is capital in Western Europe, there is a lot of potential and talent in Central Eastern Europe and we are kind of the melting pot connecting them," he says.
