In a recent interview with Chobani’s Chief Marketing Officert Peter McGuinness, TheStreet's Brian Sozzi chatted on a range of topics, from new product flavors to a potential IPO. The topic of a Chobani IPO really caught Sozzi's attention. A company doesn’t just IPO for the sake of doing so, it has to have a need to raise funds to support its business vision. The needs for Chobani? Well, they would surprise you. For example, Chobani is preparing to open a good number of unique yogurt bars. Moreover, the company has international aspirations, and will require localized manufacturing that won't be cheap to build. Sozzi shares all of the details.
