Bullish calls on Monday as Dollar General, Family Dollar and Capital One get upgraded to BUY and L Brands gets a PERFORM rating. Jefferies says it is upgrading shares of both discount retailers to BUY from HOLD on talk of a potential combination and the synergies a deal would produce. Nomura is upgrading shares of Capital One Financial to BUY from NEUTRAL as loan growth appears to finally be turning positive in the second half of 2014. Oppenheimer is making a bullish call on L Brands and upgrading the shares to PERFORM from SECTOR PERFORM because the maker of Victoria's Secret has a lot of opportunity to grow overseas and its same store sales comparisons are better than other retailers in the space. Ruben Ramirez reports from the floor of the NYSE.
