Leaders of the Group of Seven industrialized nations warn Russian President Putin that they will ratchet up sanctions if he does not de-escalate the crisis in Ukraine. The U.S. and its allied pledged their support for Ukraine while saying they would continue with diplomacy but impose further sanctions if needed -- emphasizing that all members of the group stand shoulder to shoulder on the issue. Energy security and diversification of energy supplies also dominated the agenda, and U.S. President Obama said the U.S. would continue to lead by example in the fight against climate change.
