Amazon is our chart of the day on Thursday May 29. The company has disappointed investors and shares have tumbled more than a whopping 22 percent. Now, the company is escalating a fight with publisher Hachette over e-books. Brick-and-mortar retailers have better profit margins to offer investors, and without the product that was once the centerpiece of Amazon's offerings -- literature -- it remains to be seen how the company will maintain profitability in the future.
