European stocks have outperformed the S&P so far this year, and should offer healthy returns going forward, says Lisa Myers, portfolio manager for the Templeton Global Balanced Fund. Myers is bullish on French oil services player Technip due to its strong deep-sea drilling business. Staying in France, she is also positive on shares of BNP Paribas, despite the recent probe into the bank’s alleged money laundering activities. Finally, Myers is a fan of Swiss pharmaceutical giant Roche Holding due to its extensive oncology and immunology drug pipelines, as well as its healthy dividend.
