Invesco PowerShares edge in the growing competition between "smart beta" ETF providers is its ability to identify single risk factors to boost portfolio performance, says the company's Managing Director Dan Draper. Draper says the company's Low Volatility ETF (SPLV) and Buyback Achievers ETF (PKW) are its hottest smart beta funds right now. Finally, he expects Invesco PowerShares recently launched Variable Rate Preferred ETF (VRP) to gain a lot of traction as investors continue to seek yield and safety from rising rates.
