Recently named commissioner, in the first big test of his authority, laid down the law: he slapped the Clippers' owner with a big fine, and suspended Sterling from all team functions. For life. Sterling is now being pressed to sell his franchise, one that's - arguably - hosting its best days after years of a desultory performance. Meanwhile, the team is fighting in the playoffs.
