Chinese stocks may be struggling over worries about the country's slowing economy, but there are still gains to be had in the right small and mid-cap stocks, especially in the e-commerce arena, says John Wong, portfolio manager for the Oberweis China Opportunities Fund. Wong is bullish on Chinese online lottery provider 500.com because of its sports gaming offerings ahead of the World Cup. He is also a fan of online discount retailer Vipshop which is enjoying huge growth serving consumers in 2nd tier Chinese cities.
