Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and that's a saying Starbucks, Taco Bell and McDonald's are taking to the bank. Breakfast, typically an afterthought on fast food menus, is heating up to be a big moneymaker. Starbucks recently expanded its range of breakfast sandwiches, a natural fit given the popularity of its coffees in peak morning hours. But Taco Bell also recently entered the market with its breakfast burritos and tacos, and McDonad's is gearing up to extend its breakfast hours.
