Belus Capital Advisor's Brian Sozzi addresses allegations that Modell's CEO Mitch Modell went undercover in a Dick's Sporting Goods to spy on its shipping business model. Sozzi is worried about the disconnect between retail management and store employees growing to the point where workers don't know upper-level managers. Technology has advanced enough to allow retailers to ship from individual stores, but the cost of this technology is crushing smaller companies like Modell's, says Sozzi.

At the time of publication, Sozzi was long XXX, although positions may change at any time.

At the time of publication, Sozzi held no position in the stocks mentioned.
