It's been rough for the retailers this year, but TJX management has the ability to reward shareholders even in this difficult environment, says Robert McIver, Portfolio Manager for the Jensen Quality Value Fund. McIver is also bullish on Oracle because of its strong value proposition to its customers and high ROE. Varian Medical Systems is up this year, despite the down market, because it has a strong annuity stream that supports the share price says McIver, who is also a fan of Emerson Electric because of its international growth.
