Mercedes Benz USA CEO Steve Cannon says the newly revamped C-Class could be 'a home run' for the automaker in the final quarter of 2014. The new Mercedes C will be priced at $29,900 and will hit showrooms in September. Cannon says the C-Class, which had long been thought of as the 'baby benz,' has grown up and is in a class all its own. Mercedes had big success in 2013 with its CLA which brought 8 in 10 new, younger buyers to the brand for the first time. Cannon says the CLA continues to be 'hot all over the world' and supplies of the car in the U.S. will be tight through the first three months of 2014.
