DHL is boosting its deliveries in Africa, despite the lack of infrastructure and armed conflict that make it difficult for the package delivery companies to span the continent. DHL Express CEO Ian Clough and Sub-Saharan Africa Managing Director Charles Brewer tell TheStreet's Joe Deaux the company is tackling the high logistics costs of doing business in Africa and they recognize steady growth hinges on how they expand into rural locations.
