Jobless claims for the week ended Jan. 4 fell to 330,000 from 345,000. Wells Fargo Funds Management Chief Equity Strategist John Manley tells TheStreet's Joe Deaux that it was a good claims report. Looking ahead, Manley said he's expecting another strong monthly jobs report, which could influence the Federal Reserve's pace to curb its economic stimulus program. Economists expect the U.S. economy in December to add 196,000 jobs and for the unemployment rate to remain at 7%.
