'Worm' Writers Arrested Abroad
The <I>AP</I> reports that two suspects were arrested, one in Turkey and another in Morocco.
Authorities in Morocco and Turkey have taken two people in to custody who they think may be behind the computer worm that hit U.S. companies and government offices earlier this month, according to an
Associated Press
report.
The report indicated that Farid Essebar, 18, was arrested in Morocco, and Atilla Ekici, 21, was picked up in Turkey. The

cited the FBI for the information contained in the report. The FBI told the

that the suspects will be prosecuted in the countries where they were arrested.
The worm, called Zotob, affected computers that run
Microsoft's
(MSFT) - Get Microsoft Corporation Report
operating systems. Microsoft helped locate the suspects, the report said, again citing the FBI.
