VSP Capital buys out Haslemere at 1.5 billion euro valuation
Offer expired Friday with over 51% positive response rate
Israel's Capital (TASE: VSPC ) has bought out British real estate firm Haslemere at €1.5 billion ($1.3 billion), report Ma'ariv correspondents Shai Eliash and Amir Eisenberg.
The offer to purchase Haslemere shares expired on Friday with more than the minimum required 51% positive response rate. For the purposes of the deal, VSP Capital established Brack, in partnership with privately-held U.S. real estate company Apollo and funded by debt from Merrill Lynch, who also holds an option to buy into Haslemere at a later date. Brack also included minority stakes for other investors such as Benny Steinmetz.
