Vignette Up on Rating Hike

Vignette (VIGN) was up 9.9% in late morning after Salomon Smith Barney raised its rating to outperform from neutral, and hiking its price target to $12 from $8.

Salomon applauded the e-business software maker's strategy of joint development of products with consulting firms

and said Vignette's business appears to have stabilized.
